This air conditioner has been working great and at a much better price than the other brands that I had looked at. One of them was a well known long established brand and was almost double the price which is ridiculous. The appliance store I bought this unit at told me they have nothing but problems from that really expensive unit too. They gave me multiple units to choose from and they thought this was my best choice to get the specs I was looking for at the most reasonable price. So far I have no complaints at all. I will definitely be looking at LG appliances any time I need to purchase anything again.

Bought and installed this about a month ago and have been using it on and off ever since. Massive upgrade from the ancient unit that my apartment came with cools the room very nicely and quickly. I like the dehumidification function and the remote control as well. Took off a star for two reasons. First the instructions are extremely unclear there are three or four different sets of instructions each slightly different and the extra parts foam various brackets and gratings that are included are totally unlabeled so it was confusing to figure out which ones I actually need. There is a short foam piece that youre supposed to stick on top of the unit before sliding it in but it obviously gets blocked by another foam piece inserted into the sleeve. I was able to get the unit into the wall eventually with some brute force but I wish the instructions made more sense. Second there is a tendency for the front filter grate and the included molding to rattle sometimes. It can get loud enough to be annoying. It goes away if I wiggle the unit a little bit but I wish there was just some extra padding or rubber around the grate connections and molding so the plastic doesnt rattle when the unit is running. Pretty happy overall hope it lasts for many years.

We bought it two months ago and turned it on after installed. It blows air so we thought it works. After two months when we actually need it to work and realize it only blows air but not cooling air. At its lowest temperature cooling mode blows the same air as fan mode. And lowes is not letting me to return it because it is after 30 days. and LG customer service said because this air conditioner is not working because my room is too small for it. So the compressor is not turning on. I need to buy a small unit for my room. If my room is too small it should be too cold in the first place right? but it never blow cool air. Now I dont know what to do with this thing.

The Wall unit in my 310 sq foot office went out and after doing some research we went with this unit. Love the remote control and the energy saver feature. Perfect for the space and with the energy feature the unit cycles off once the space reaches the temperature setting which is nice as it sits right above my desk and is noisy but not as noisy as my old unit. No regrets on this purchase.

Replaced broken unit in bedroom. Cools quickly. The Energy Saver setting was a bit annoying as when room reached proper temperature the whole thing fan compressor would shut down. Then a few minutes later all would start up again to check start cooling again if needed. A nice idea but the on-off noise cycles was annoying. Easy to fix we disable energy saver and let fan run full time and compressor kicks in when needed. All in all we love it

Purchased this A/C from Sylvane online-free two day shipping was a plus. It comes with all the needed insulation you might have to add some just in case it doesnt completely cover all the nooks and crannies. It fit pretty well into my grandmas wall sleeve of approximately 15X27. The only thing you might want to check about the wall sleeve is the depth. It sticks out a little but with the plastic frame around it it looks great. It started cooling down my grandmas studio immediately. Its not loud at all and it comes with a remote. I would purchase again. Very happy with it.
