Love the remote and some of the features but; the air conditioner is very noisy, because of the noise level from the AC it is difficult to hear the TV while watching without turning the volume up when the AC is on. We made this purchase because it said it was a quiet AC. Our old AC was much quieter and it was 20 plus years old but we wanted to upgrade.

My new Frigidaire 5000BTU A/C is small, lightweight and efficient. It cool fast and I like the large open vents. The auto shut off when the room meets its target temperature helps with saving electricity. Unlike my old clunker that kept running until powered off. For a small room, it™™s perfect. My only sad thing is the noise in high fan it still louder than anticipated. But I keep it on a lower fan when sleeping and it is quite quiet.

Perfect a/c unit for my small space. Installation is easy, although I had to add a piece of plywood to fill the extra space created by the fact that the only window that opens in my unit is oversized. All that aside, bottom line is the a/c unit does a great job.

This 5,000 BTU air conditioner works as well as my larger 11,500 BTU one. It definitely cools down the room much faster than the older heaver one that I replaced it with. I highly recommend this unit.

This unit works like a charm. Very quiet and efficient. The only feature I'd like to see it have is a "auto" speed fan. Setting the fan to a set speed can, at times, be to much or too little. Having an auto speed fan would make this appliance perfect!

It has been less than two months with the AC and I only use it three days a weeks since I go to work. The AC has not been cooling at all. I was asking for help in the chat and I have been waiting for 20 minutes already. Not only that but the return policy only covers for 30 days but ironically enough the AC stops cooling after that period of time. I choose Frigidaire since people told me it's the best brand for Air conditioners. I need to either get it replace or to be able to return it even without the original box or something.

i had bought a 5000 btu ac for my bedroom in 2018, and it seemed to be fine. However after last summer I decided I needed something with more BTU. This summer after many nights of sleeping restlessly- I looked into a few different options and ultimately decided on this (5000 BTU) unit. I am so happy with it and have had wonderful nights of sleep. It doesn't feel anything like my old unit and is comparatively so quiet.

Our window vertical opening is on the low side so we were hoping that the ac unit would fit. We got it in thank God! This air conditioner runs smoothly and cooled the room as needed. Simple to operate and the digital reading on the front is a plus. Would love to purchase another one.

It was kinda difficult to set up; cooled room quickly, but do NOT understand the logic of the Sleep cycle. It goes up TWO degrees first 30 minutes then another TWO degrees and basically turns off. VERY inconvenient and ridiculous. I woke up and the room was SO warm before it kicked in again. I always liked Frigidaire AC™™s but this is ludicrous. I thought the Sleep cycle meant it would quiet down, but still maintain the temperature? I mean FOUR degrees HIGHER THAN what you set it at is NOT Acceptable. I would have considered a different brand if I knew this.

I enjoy this units efficiency, it cools my room and I only use it on Eco so far . I had some issues with it fitting my window but I don't think many people would have same problem and I was able to make it work with some extra work . I have not bought the filters for allergens yet but I'm happy there is a option for that as I have bad allergies. Only real downside for me is this unit seems very loud , I am about 7 ft from it and fan setting above 1 it's hard or impossible to hear tv.

My old ac was just not doing the trick. It was loud and did not cool my small bedroom enough to sleep comfortably. I've had my new ac in for a few weeks, and I am loving it!! I set it on the economy setting, and it cycles on/off to keep me cool throughout the night. It has an excellent Energy Star rating, si I know that I'm saving money and not wasting energy.

I needed a new bedroom AC and decided on this model based on cost and the economy setting. After a few weeks I am very pleased with this unit. It is quiet and keeps the 12x12 room cool and refreshing. I especially like the economy mode because the unit shuts down until the temperature rises in the room. The remote is a huge plus.

The air condition has nice features, it's smart, I use the RAC filter so the air's cleaner, etc. But, the humidity is an issue. When I come home and the unit's been off, humidity might be 40% and inside about the same, until I run the unit, then the humidity goes up to 50%+ and this week it was in the 60% range even when running on Dry.I've had the unit 1 year next month, and I had the same trouble last summer. I was about to drill a hole in the bottom like other users suggest, but that would invalidate the warranty. I think the unit should be replaced.
