I bought this in the winter for the summer so I was just testing it out but it cooled off my house 10 degrees in under 10 minutes with the heat on. The addition of the app which allows me to turn it on or off from work or anywhere else I am will save me on my electric bill this summer.

Wheel broken on arrival before Christmas, Still Have Not Received a Replacement

Received a few days before Christmas with wheel on bottom of unit was smashed and broken into about 4 pieces. Contacted Appliances Connection before New Years Day and they still have not sent a replacement. Very disappointed with their service!

Grate Portable Air conditioner

I was apprehensive at first to incorporate a heater/air portable unit into our small area to add coolness for a few summer months. I was totally surprised at the effectiveness of the unit. It is clean, unobtrusive and 'fairly' quiet, but most of all, it does the job it is marketed for and my family is very happy that we made the decision to go with Frigidaire brand.

My Condo is comfortable again!

The unit was easy to set up and install in my condo's window. All the parts needed were supplied. My window was taller than the window kit that was supplied so I purchased a longer window kit on Amazon for a relatively good price and it all worked out.The unit itself is good looking, quiet and easy to operate. My Condo is 1,100 square feet and with all bedroom doors left open the until made every room comfortable even during a few heat waves here in California. I would recommend this unit to anyone who does not have central air conditioning and needs relief form the heat.

Really glad I bought this machine. especially living in a condo where my climate is controlled by the building. I go this to have a temperature of my choice in 700sqft and this baby does it!I am a bit let down that the window attachment doesn't really have a temporary installation solution - or a more comprehensive list of replacement parts to re-order window-seals and hose attachments. All in all - it's been a great appliance so far and I'm hoping for many more years of keeping it cool in my home.

We chose this product based on the customer reviews, the Frigidaire brand reputation, and the price. The display is easy to navigate, as is the mobile app, and we are happy with the quality of of this product. I would like to suggest to include in your installation added instructions for a "template" for the vent and a "how-to" for accommodating windows that are "crank out". We purchased a piece of plexiglass at a home improvement store and had it cut to a size that was slightly larger than the window screen. As they would not cut a hole for a vent, we purchased a blade for a jigsaw that was made to cut this material, and carefully cut an opening (to match the one on the adapter we wouldn't be using)- offsetting the opening to be on the side AWAY from the window hinges. This insures that the vent will work unobstructed by the window . Then we attached weatherstripping around the perimeter of the screen where it would meet the plexiglass, and placed the plexiglass onto the window screen frame, pre-drilled holes and attached it to the screen frame with small screws- then snapped the screen into the window frame. Then we fit the vent piece to the hose, and attached it to the AC unit, and then to the plexiglass opening. Works great, and instead of disassembling the plexiglass/screen I purchased a second screen to use when the AC is in storage.

This portable A/C does a good job at cooling down my apartment. It's not too loud, and so far no complaints. I've only had it for a month, so we'll see how it fares next year, but I'm happy! The only complaint is that the plastic window insert and the foam were a little short for my sliding window (though they are quite tall) and I had to add some cardboard to the top.

I have several portable air conditioning units but this one is by far the best. Why? It™€™s sooooo quiet. I didn™€™t think it would be possible for a port ac unit to be quiet. I was so happily surprised. I thought maybe it wasn™€™t working at first but it™€™s pumping out cold air like a champ and cooling my entire 700 sq ft living room. Plus I can set the temperature remotely from my phone. I love it!

I like that there is a grate at the end of the window hose so you dont necessarily need a screen. However it does not cool down an entire apartment. I have a 625 foot apartment and this says it can cool off a 700 foot apartment. I thought it would be stronger since my apartment is smaller then what it claims to cool down for but it does the job. I use fans to circulate the air through the rest. I also love that it has an app and I can turn it on when Im not at home!

I™€™m constantly draining the drain pan and I don™€™t get why if I have the drain connected. I™€™m also finding that it doesn™€™t cool my area effectively although the area is way smaller than the recommended sq footage. And the filter is always saying it needs to be cleaned and there™€™s not a speck of dust on the filter. It™€™s just annoying and now I™€™m shopping for a new way to keep my area cool because I™€™m drenched in sweat as I write this.
