This dehumidifier has been amazing! Our mornings are no longer so muggy due to the excessive rain we've had this summer. I have it set in the main room (living room, dining, kitchen and hallway) and it does a great job collecting a lot of water. The tank size is perfect as I only have had to empty no more than once a day.

My Frigidaire dehumidifier runs continously until I empty the use to pour and put back into place bucket. It is relatively quiet with multiple fan settings. I keep it at about a 46 percent humidity level and everyone stays comfortable. A very good machine and I recommended getting one for your home.

It is way too inconsistent. I have 3 other sensors that all read the same 48-49% humidity and the unit will say its 60% so it's running when it should be off as I set the list at 50%. Thus it's running and drawing the humidity even lower. I just checked on it and it said 50% and it went off. Less than 5 min later it shows 62% and is running again, yet my other senses all say it levels are fine and it clearly does not feel humid.

Customer service is horrible. We bought a dehumidifier online, directly from the company. Water chamber indicator was not functioning. Contacted customer service with several pictures showing the defected part and they said you have warrenty, redirected me to warrenty dept. Warrenty dept. said the will email me a link to upload the required documents so we can get a replacement and i did whatever they said. Warrenty dept replayed me back asking me to contact the shippping company. Its is ridiculous when something inside the product is malfuntiong due to quality control failure and washing their hands saying contact the carrier.

Our basement has had some flooding issues the last few weeks. I was already happy that the damp musty smell had left after using this dehumidifier. Last week we came home and there was four inches of water in the basement due to the clogged sump pump. After the water was out, the damp smell was gone within a day! No maintenance as the unit goes right into the outside drain. Couldn't ask for a better unit. And no smell. Thanks Frigidaire!

This dehumidifier is in our cellar where we store all of our canned goods. The cellar stays moist due to its placement. This is the first dehumidifier we have purchased that keeps up with the amount of moisture needing removed from our cellar. The added benefit of the mobile app on my phone is great. Highly recommend.

= It does the job and keep the area at a great temp. Where it's at is a great stop and keeps the humidity down . So two days before I got this installed I had around 4 inches of water in basement . I was able to save a lot of items because this get the humidity down to a level that without this night have cosested me a lot but this has drawn the humidity to a level that has never been seen. Super easy to get started and the hose to let it drain is the length it needs to be. Also being Wi-Fi capabilities it makes it easy to check when I am out of the house and if I need a contact to go over and fix it while I am out. Seriously people this is a gem and I would totally recommend this. For the cost and insurance you know it will do its job. time wouldn't let me. I would think any major retail would have this if not it would be easy to order and I believe this is the product that will make my basement more comfortable to be in. Again it's quiet and comfortable. It's oh so Good, two thumbs up

Took a lot of moisture out of a very large basement very quickly. Went from 60% to 45% in 2 days. Much dryer feel. The WiFi feature is very convenient as it allows me to monitor the humidity levels when away.

We needed a programmable and automatic dehumidifier with self-draining capabilities. We chose the Frigidaire FHDD5033W1 50-pint unit to try out. So far, it has been TERRIFIC! Quiet (it's in our basement) and meeting all expectations. I will write posts as the summer comes on and humidity in the region increases, but so far, it's doing as we need and expect!UPDATE....Well, it's been a few weeks and the unit continues to run flawlessly! It runs based on the conditions we specified, i.e., amount of humidity sensed through the day and night. It is quiet and does not interfere with other systems in our house. We use the WiFi to monitor the humidifier, and again, everything runs to perfection. Self-draining works making continuous monitoring of fluid level unnecessary.... All in all, this is a unit that deserves your attention! Well-built, state-of-the-art by a dependable company!!!

I have a root cellar that leaks when the rain comes in a certain way. We've been through so many dehumidifiers in that room in an effort to keep it dry and functional. None of them compare to this Frigidaire! It happily runs when the humidity levels get too high and it works quick to help get the air back to a suitable humidity level. There was a pool of water on the floor in the cellar recently and the Frigidaire dehumidifier took care of it in less than 24 hours. Did y'all know this comes with an app, too? So handy! The app tells you when the filter needs changed or if the bucket needs emptied among other things.If you need a powerful dehumidifier to keep your space dry, this is a great one. Highly recommend.

Been looking for a larger capacity humidifier for a while and super happy about this Frigidaire Unit. Out of the box, I had some issues with getting the unit pump to work properly but after re reading the instructions it was an easy fix. 50 pints of capacity is no joke and easy an accolade. I bought 2 of these dehumidifiers direct from Frigidaire. The buying experience was excellent, easy online ordering and great delivery. I didn't really want a top discharge dehumidifier, but I had purchased Homelab and crawspace dehumidifiers over the past 10 yrs that would lose coolant after 1-2 years due to poor craftsmanship. So thought I'd give Frigidaire a shot, great brand history and good online reviews. Let me say that whoever thinks a top discharge dehumidifer is a good thing is only working withing a 10 x 15 ft room. These things blow air straight up, it hits the ceiling and recirculate pretty much immediately back to the air inlet. It's a bad design and I highly discourage people from using such a design except in a small room design. I get a lot of short-cycling because the dehumidifer is recycling air so quickly, it takes quite a while to defuse out into the rest of the room, mine run an exceedingly long time for this reason. Other downside, the thing is loud, really unbearable loud compared to other in-room units. I use my in a large open air conditioned garage to help remove excess humidity, it is poor for this application. I can't determine why anybody would actually recommend this unit.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. The unit lasted 3 months. I PURCHASED the extended warranty and that's a total joke. The call center does nothing to help. Put me on hold for hours and NO HELP!! One lie after the next and no action. I have called over and over.I also own a 50 pint Fridgidaire with exactly the same result and horrible treatment.This is the worst consumer experience I have ever had.

We™™ve been using this for a couple weeks now in our upstairs and I cannot say how much of a difference it has made. Been really humid lately and with a dehumidifier on each level, the level with this guy seems to run less and maintains the set percentage pretty consistently. One of the surpising things i like which i didnt expect was the handle to carry the drain container when its full. It slides out super easy and the handle pops up...its the little things!It blends in perfect with home and does not stick out. After you intergrade it with the app, that makes it even better of a tool to help manage your environment, specially if you have other frigidaire items on it.Overall I™™m happy with this product and would recommend to others.

Amazing Heating and Cooling. Does the job not only for the winter but in the summer. Cools off right away and warms up the house just as fast. Didn't see much of a jump in my electric bill and the unit seems sturdy and long lasting.

This is a perfect addition to my basement. A great way to keep the humidity levels low to avoid dampness and potential mold issues. Nice capactiy- 50 pints- means less emptying the water bucket. It also features a pump that can be used to pump water into a drain, sink etc for more conveinence. Note that is does shut off automatically if full so no need to worry about overflow messes Can be set up quickly with an app to use with Wifi which can be handy to notify when full. Oh can also use Alexa. Runs quieter than I anticipated. Nice sleek design, is fairly compact and doesn't take up too much space. Pleasd with performance

Fabulous way to keep my basement dry and reduce humidity. Works efficiently so that I don't have concens over dampness and potential mod build up. Can be programmed to work with Alexa which is very convenient. Water bucket is a nice 50 pint capacity which recuces the number of times it needs to be emptied. Note can also be set up to drain directly into a drain or sink if available. Has auto shut off to reduce overfil and protects your floor from wetness. Runs fairly quiet. Nice sleek design would look good in all areas of your home. Nice value, pleased with performance.

This thing is amazing. It took all the humidity right out within 24 hours of my non-finished basement. It is no longer humid any water on the wall or condensation is gone and it's actually a comfortable temperature now. I hooked this unit up to drain into my pump which pumps the water right out into the septic. and using the supplied hose it worked perfectly. The unit blows air around nicely and actually filters quite a bit of the basement smell out. Its also amazing because like a lot of older humidifiers it doesn't get really hot when doing its job and thus not making the space around it feel hotter. As for the sound it really doesn't bother me its like a white noise but outside of the basement I don't hear it at all. It is definitely a beefier unit and thus I think it does its job twice as good as my three previous dehumidifiers. I think this one will be around for quite a while. I got a chance, totally forgetting that this unit had WIFI Access on it. Now my life is so much easier. I can check my phone to see the humidity of my basement. Using the Auto Humidity control it keeps it right at 45 in the basement where i need it. Eliminating the moisture and hopefully the silverfish with it. I hooked it up through the pipe in the back to a pump to get the dehumidified water out of the house and it works amazing. Just set and go. Great Job Frigidaire !

The Frigidaire 50 Pint Dehumidifier is really good in size, power and noise level. I'm impressed on how low the decibel is for this unit. Not as loud as competitor brands out there. It's really compact and the water bucket is big enough to hold the 50 points of water. I like that the size is compact and that it moves freely with just a simple push with the really smooth canister wheels. The available Frigidaire App is a huge plus and it helps with scheduling when to have it turn on or off. The auto-stop feature shuts off the dehumidifier so it keeps the water bucket from overfilling and damaging your floors. Overall, I'm really happy with this Frigidaire 50 Pint Dehumidifier. I will highly recommend this product.

Excellent results with this dehumidifier. Truly a game changer for my allergies (exacerbated by humidity indoors).It is a bit loud. It has three settings for fan speed, the lowest setting is not as loud if you need to be nearby working/meeting virtually or watching tv/listening to music.This may sound like a sponsor supported statement (it™™s not, I wish) but™¦my only regret is not purchasing this one sooner. .1.) In my experience, affordable dehumidifiers are not simultaneously quiet AND efficient. I have allergies, so the trade off is worth it for me. It is loud on highest fan setting.2.) It™™s important to purchase a dehumidifier that has equivalent square footage (or more) for the area you need covered.Common sense, I know. But I previously purchased a smaller one with less coverage™"it still helped, but if this is your first time purchasing one, it is best to go for coverage over perceived savings.It delivers better results in less time drawing the moisture out of the air. Probably better for the life of the appliance, too.

I got the Frigidaire FHDD5033W1 Smart WiFi dehumidifier to tackle some serious dampness in my bathroom, and it's been fantastic. Setup was incredibly easy ™ just unpack, pop the wheels on, and it was ready to go.It's done wonders for the humidity. I set it to 45%, and now the bathroom stays comfortably around 45% at all times (even after a shower, it quickly drops back to ~45%). The damp feeling is completely gone. Yes, you can hear it run, but it's not loud, especially with the door shut. Naturally, like all dehumidifiers, it does exhaust some warm air, so the bathroom gets several degrees hotter while it's operating, which is expected. Surprisingly, after a week, there's hardly any water in the bin, even though the room was very damp before. I guess the smaller room size means less work for it, which is fine by me ™ less emptying! It's worth noting that it isn't peak humidity season (here in mid-April in East Tennessee) yet, so I'm interested to see how it performs when summer humidity really kicks in, but based on its performance so far, I'm optimistic.I also love the smart features; checking the status and adjusting settings on my phone is really convenient. Plus, it looks stylish and compact, and it's noticeably quieter than my older 50-pint unit in the basement.Overall, I'm very happy with this dehumidifier and definitely recommend it, especially if you appreciate the smart features and need effective humidity control.

Frigidaire 50 Pint Dehumidifier- finally got the dehumidifier set up yesterday- all seems to be good with it so far. i did have it automatically shut off all by itself for some reason; but i turned it back on again and all seems to be going well with it. does a pretty good job-i think it sounds lower than our prior one, but others think it is somewhat louder- not really sure. so far happy with it and what it is doing to rid the basement of excess moisture.

So I was in need of a Dehumidifier for my upstairs to use before it was time to Install the window AC units. I wanted one that was big but not too bulky and didn™™t look out of place sitting in a high traffic area. After seeing the pictures and measurements, I feel this does the job due to the amount of water it holds and how it doesn™™t look out of place just sitting there. I placed this in the walkway between the three bedrooms in hopes it would help with all 3 rooms and sure enough this puppy was able to lower humidity from 55 down to 44 within 90 minutes and that was in all 3 rooms.The controls are beyond easy to understand and the app is just as easy to set up. One of my favorite features is actually having wheels on it so it can easily be moved from room to room.If I had to pick one gripe about this, it would be the level of sound it has on the low setting. Some might find it louder than they like but big picture is this has one job to do, and that™™s to efficiently take moisture out of the air and not impress you with how quiet it is. I would recommend this to anyone

To begin with I must address the ease of the directions. I assembled and figured the entire machine out in 1 read. First take wheels and hose out of water storage tank, put wheels on THEN WAIT 1 HOUR! The gases or whatever must resettle. You can attach hose or just empty the dehumidifier bucket when full. There is a personalized or the standard humidity buttons. I tried em all and found personalized at 46% was a game changer. We woke up feeling great the next morning. Even my elderly father didn't complain about his bones. We also noted less sinus problems in the morning. In conclusion easy to setup and use, Plus health benefits.
